New show as usual. This one's a Baltimore Club/ Gutter Music festival of lights. I mention in the show that I was supposed to interview Aaron LaCrate (one of the early bmore dj's) but it didn't come together. It's all good, he got Yann and me into the Dizzee Rascal show last night anyways.

This mix is pretty solid, combines classic bmore jawns with some of the new sound that's blowing up. If you don't know enough about gutter, take a listen .

Hi everybody,

Been a minute, but things have been going swimmingly on this side of the blog. I've played a bunch of shows, one at Nevin's with Yann M. (check him out a doubleccrroossss.blogspot.com) and that was sick. Last week I was at Zentra, and a lot of people came out, thanks for the support.

ON to bigger things, you need to start listening to Freestyle now, right now. You probably have listened to a ton but had no idea. This will explain it better than I can, but anyways, it's dope and will make you shake it. I played a ton of that and early 90's house on my show last night. It was an all vinly/cd mix, no computer this time, which was a lot of fun.

Check me out at the Hundo on Thursday the 8th. I'm gonna be in the mayfest DJ battle for a spot to play at Dillo Day.

HI everybody,

Last night I covered the show before mine on WNUR, so I played for three hours total. That was dope. Unfortunately I only recorded two hours of it, but consider it the usual show with a little bonus.

And if your heart is beating and you legs kinda work, head to Nevin's thes Friday to hear Yann and me play. We got the closing set of the party, and it should sound like what you hear below but with more chutzpah.

Tag Team Radio Show

Last night instead of the regular radio show, Yann and I tag-teamed it for the WNUR phoneathon. Pretty serious mix comes out of it. We talk a lot over the mix trying to get donations like Jerry Lewis, but it's fun. The experiment yielded great results, mostly fire, and we're planning on doing a bunch of these every quarter. Got another WNUR set for you and this one is fire. Tons of old school joints with some new ish thrown in for good measure. Things like this show may not be good for me, I think I'm becoming nocturnal. It could be that or all the coffee I'm drinking. My mom got me a $25 Starbucks card, and rather than get one $25 ultra-late, I'm getting my usual small coffee every night at 11 o clock.

Seriously though, I'm loving the whole idea of convenience gifts. Not having to pay for one thing I buy semi-regularly is pretty cool. I might just start getting my friends underwear or something for their birthdays, who wouldn't like a fresh set of drawers?

Anyways, here's the radio show from this week, hopefully soon I'll get more mixes and tracks up, should be easy, since I don't sleep anymore. Sorry I didn't put more R. Kelly on it, today being valentine's day and all.

New radio show from Wednesday night/ thursday morning. Maybe you've heard these tracks before, maybe you haven't, maybe I played Hall and Oates. Check it out, like I'm checking out a pair of duck boots.
